Apprenticeship Program

Ironworkers Local No. 6 4 Year Apprentice Program is a great way to jump start your career in the construction industry. The application must be completed on site.

How to apply:

Interested applicants for the apprenticeship program can only apply in person on the FIRST Monday of the month, January - August between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon. No exceptions. Our union office is located at 196 Orchard Park Rd., West Seneca, NY 14224.

On the day you apply, you are required to bring and submit the following items to our office:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Drivers License
  • $5.00 processing fee

*If you are currently in the Military or just recently released, please visit and fill out application, print it and bring it with you the day you apply to the apprenticeship. Helmets to Hardhats is the fastest way for military, reservists, and guardsmen to transition from active duty to a career in the construction industry.
